Audio Art 2013
21. Audio Art Festival
Kraków, 20. July – 24. November
|
|
Audio Art is an experimental and postmodernist art of the close of XX century and the beginning of the XXI century.
Audio Art is an integration of sound and visual art. Presentation of Audio Art appears in form of the concert,
performance and installation. Audio Art creates new concept of sound source: as an object and musical instrument
in certain space and time. Audio Art is a "one person art": composer, designer and performer unify the whole process
of art creation. Audio Art uses low and high technology. Audio Art Festival presents individual artists from all over the world.
Festival also presents other non-audio art events extending the whole image of the art based on sound.
Audio Art Festival events are webcasted live.
|
Audio Art jest eksperymentalną i postmodernistyczną sztuką przełomu wieków.
Audio Art to integracja sztuk wizualnych z dźwiękowymi. Audio Art występuje w formie koncertów, performance i instalacji.
Audio Art tworzy nową koncepcję źródła dźwięku: obiektu i instrumentu muzycznego w określonej przestrzeni i czasie.
Audio Art jest sztuką personalną: kompozytor, konstruktor i wykonawca unifikują cały proces tworzenia i wykonania dzieła.
Audio Art używa prostej i zaawansowanej technologii.

Symptoms were created at the crossroads of two worlds: music and theater. They are a series of semi-experimental works by Jarek Kordaczuk set to quite personal texts by Agnieszka Kolodynska who plays the role of the actor. Some of the texts have erotic context, therefore they are addressed mainly to adults. All sounds except for the actor’s voice (that is the multiple double-bass and monoctone parts) are performed by the composer. The project in its live version takes the form of an audio-stage piece. On the one hand, due to the personal involvement of the actor and her props it turns into a spectacle. On the other hand, the notes and remarks on intonation, rhythm and text phrasing present in the score make the work resemble a typical concert piece, though not excluding some improvised material.
Agnieszka Kolodynska (Warszawa)
As an actress she cooperates with Teatr Porywacze Ciał i Teatrem Osmego Dnia from Poznan. She has produced several authorial theatre projects, which gained acceptance among various alternative art circles. She has won numerous prizes in recognition of her acting abilities. She is a holder of a scholarship from The Ministry of Culture and National Heritage.
Jarek Kordaczuk (Olsztyn)
(born 1967) He studied composition at the Music Theory, Conducting and Composition Department of the Academy of Music in Poznan. His interests range from creating sung poetry, music for children as well as experimental works of diverse types – both vocal and instrumental, chamber and orchestral, acoustic and electroacoustic, classical and improvised, and even… quiet and loud :). He has designed his own electroaocutsic instrument (more precisely: CV controller) named ‘monoctone’
